13th Annual Window Cleaning Network Picnic

The weekend of Saturday, July 25th will be the 13th annual Window Cleaning Network Picnic in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - a 3 day networking opportunity open to AWC magazine readers, Window Cleaning Network website users and their families.

80-100 are expected again this year. (You do not need to be affiliated with any window cleaning association.)

Activities are planned for Friday, July 24.
For early arrivals, a chance to play golf at Olde Highlander. Then the afternoon Picnic Preview will feature posters and display of every product sample and door prize, so people can check them out early.
Early Friday evening is the AUWC's 3rd annual membership meeting, which will be open to all window cleaners, regardless of membership.

Friday evening, attendees meet at the DSC Welcome reception in the hotel's Royal Cellar lounge for snacks, beer and cash bar.

Picnic Saturday starts indoors with window cleaning seminars in the abc Conference Room, then heads outside for a catered Picnic meal featuring BBQ ribs, chicken and roasted sweet corn in the JRC Picnic Tent

Outdoor games are planned - a fun sponge toss contest and a Pitchburst machine sponsored by Professional ServiceCEO.

Pitchburst is a dunk tank alternative - the subject gets doused by a large water balloon, not dunked in a 500 gallon tank of cold water. We will load a few balloons with confetti - to get everyone involved. The Pitchburst will be used to raise money for the American Cancer Society. There have already been offers of $50 to $75 for a chance to soak me - but we're going to make sure it's affordable most of the time.

On Picnic day, Oconomowoc will be the waterfed pole capital of the world, with demonstrations of nearly every pole or system sold in the US. Also planned are lift demos, an informal work truck show, and a big door prize drawing.

Outings are also in the works for Sunday, July 26; a Lake Michigan charter fishing trip, a free cookout on Milwaukee's lakefront, or a visit to Miller Park for a Brewers/Braves game.

Some terrific product samples and door prizes will be provided by Window Cleaning Network sponsors - those announcements will begin next month.

Attendees can book rooms at Olympia Resort & Spa - site of the Picnic.

The $101 Picnic room rate includes spa access. (To hot and cold whirlpools, sauna, steam, etc.)

Weekends are your family time?

Bring them along - there's plenty for them to do while you're taking care of business- PLUS - you can sign them up to join you for the BBQ and water games.
