Steve, very smart answer, I
would like to add a few things. This guy may feel that he is "owed" certain
liberty's because he has been their so long. HE IS NOT. Many of us have people
that feel that way, BUT he is taking ZERO liability for his actions that will
not only be passed on to other employee's. He is also NOT thinking of what would
have happened if the homeowner could do if they wanted like trespassing, etc.
etc.
He needs a check up from the neck up, he is
taking advantage of your need for him. I would write your points out in advance
and sit him down if you want to keep him and set it very clear that you own the
company and this is the way its going to be. You don't owe him nothing , you
have been paying him! He owes you an apology and you owe it to yourself to stop
this crap.
Good Luck,
Jim
