I use the same line (office line) to fax on. I do not use the "fax over
the internet or email fax" feature in Quickbooks, as a fee was charged. I
have a Xerox machine that is a color flatbed, with a printer, copier and
scanner. It came with Quicklink III software that allows me to fax an
invoice, directly from quickbooks. If I am on the internet, since my
modem is on the office line, I transfer my office line to my cell phone
and I don't tie up my office line. I also have another phone line, but it
is the home line and the kids use it mostly.
