Window Cleaners Network has some great stuff in the archives about backpack WFP. Gary Mauer has some great input. At the time he used one a lot. I use one now. It's set up like Gary's.

I just went to home depot and got t a pump up garden sprayer.  I had to spend a little time in the fittings department  but I found it all there. I think I did it all for under $40.00

I use a  4 gallon backpack garden sprayer that works well. If I am quick on the valve I can go for about 25 windows before I have to refill.  It's just really hard on the shoulders/back to be using a pole and having the weight on as well.

Does anyone use a backpack for wfp? I think it would work great in those places where your hose from the van gets wrapped up or stuck with obstacles like trees, bushes, etc...
