Nance,

We use cold water only, and have found Oil-Buster from Envirospec mixed in with your usual house-wash recipe(Sodium Hypochlorite, Dishsoap, etc.) to be the absolutely best thing ever to give amazing results on oil stains. Jim's right, you'll never get it all, concrete's too porous, but you'll make it a far sight better. Hot water will make it easier, but it still cleans very well with cold. We use this for all our oil-stain cleaning.

Another product out there covers up oil stains, but you have to treat all the concrete for continuity, and that is the waterless cleaner, RPC Crete Magic from Rowlett Pressure Cleaning. It contains Sodium and Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate that will break down petroleum-based oils. I have not used this myself, but have heard good feedback about it.

Our motto is "We do Windows and Pressure Cleaning Too" but we're having trouble getting oil stains out of concrete with a 4000 PSI cold water Pressure Washer, even when we use cleaning solutions.  Have you found anything that works consistently?

Thanks!
