sponges
Dan, Do you buy these sponges from a local
source, like a paint store, or do you mail order them?
Is it basically a foam or hydrophilic
sponge?
Thanks,
Ross Alexander

I like the Armaly proplus heavy duty sponge
(large). It's a 2" x 4 x 6 brick shaped sponge. fits very well in the hand.
This is a tough sponge that requires some breaking in to reach optimum
absorbancy. I use it for wiping sills, ledges and squeegee blade and
scrubbing small panes and problem areas ( fingerprints, etc.). Also for
cleaning frames and is tough enough for screen wiping. It's almost allways
in my left hand. Saves a lot on towel use. Not quite as absorbant as
the natural sponge but much tougher, longer lasting and cheaper (about $1.15
each). Sometimes have to follow with towel when detailing light colored
interior frames and sills, but mostly just use towels for glass edges.Armaly
