[World] Low-rise training
Hey Group,
I am considering getting into Low-Rise (6 stories or less in my
opinion.). I am aware that rigging is rigging whether you are 1,000 feet
up or 100 but I think I would feel more comfortable with the low-rise
stuff to start. However there aren't exactly experienced WCs in my area
jumping to share this info with me. What have you guys done? Are there
any books on it to get me started. I did order a book named "On Rope"
which is a guide for all safety systems whether a rescuer or rock climber
or WC. I am already somewhat familiar with safety systems because I
enjoy rock climbing. Although I am only a year old on that too. Can one
do a lowrise job singularly or is it always a two man thing? Plus how
would one discover regulations with out going to the local OSHA, ANSI
office. (I wouldn't want them checkin on me) If any of you have
suggestions please share them. I am just under Cleveland by the way, so
you West Coasters and Southerners can share all you want. Laugh Out
Loud! Have a great day!
